Desert ghost

Recessive
Desert ghost is a recessive gene which means that you need both the parents to carry the gene to produce visual offspring. Desert ghost is often confused with desert, another dominant gene where the females are unable to reproduce. Desert ghost is a completely different gene and has no reported issues! It really brings out the color when combined with other genes such as pastel. There are still alot of combo's to be made and this gene will probably trow some nice and unexpected stuff in the future.
Right now we only have one desert ghost female.
Desert ghost is one of the few genes in ball pythons that look better as an adult. Desert ghost even reduces the 'browning out' when combined with genes that 'brown out' as adults such as pastel. Therefore it is an excellent gene to have in your collection if you want snakes that are not only very nice as babies but keep their color as an adult.
